Theres allready a thread on this car. I would also love Biante to quote the number of models released on every car on the Biante site. I wonder how many minicars are produced for each model, we havent got a clue except for the track red.

Got another Holden to add to my Bathurts Winners collection. The old card has taken a bit of a beating this month with the arrival of 2 Murphy winning commodores and the Brock 24 hour winner :D

Ok Thanks mate.
Yes numbers would be nice. I emailed them a request and they happily obliged.
Total manufactured and total available via Biante site and a descending counter showing how many remaing available for sale.
It would help us make a more informed and appropriate decision and lets us know whether to scramble or not.
Sorry bout the new thread.

We have a countdown system, but at our end.
Any particular reason why you think we should tell the whole world how many cars we sell on our website???
"Total manufactured" and "scramble or not" is irrelevant.
There are plenty of each model made...if you want it, order it. We give a heap of notice its coming, regardless of what some shops may tell you.
The professional stores know as much as we do because everything is updated constantly on their Dealer Site.
hrtman2.....tell me how many models of less than 6000 have been released since the last one that ACTUALLY was a 6000 piece release?
Dont just blast off any old thing on here.....make a useful contribution please.

Admin has answered the question about how many of any particular model are available through the website, but if you want to know the total number of a particular model it's not too hard to find.
In the top right-hand corner of the Biante homepage is a link called FAQs. If you click on that link it brings up a whole heap of other links. If you click on the one labelled Product Information it will take you to another menu where you can click on a link called What Biante brand AUSTRALIAN diecast models have been released so far? (http://www.biante.com.au/faqs.cfm?mode=category&FAQCategory=Product%20Information#FAQ55) This lists every model Biante have produced from day 1, including the total number of each model produced.
This list goes right up to the present day (as of now the latest model on there is the subject of this thread) - and the number produced? 4,000
Whether Biante choose to also list that number in the actual listing of each model on the website is up to them, but like I said, it's not that hard to find it...;)

He may have been answering the question, but a correct answer would be more use than an incorrect one.
There have been 18, yes eighteen models released since the last 6000 unit model (Moffat 1973 XA) and thats just 1:18th models.
So, like I said, dont just blast off without putting the brain into gear.

Yeah, I thought he may have got the year wrong.
You can't win.. You release too few of a popular car (Moffat Bathurst winner) and you get bagged.. Release 6000 and your releases aren't "limited" any more...

Just trying to help- staying out of the right/wrong argument....there are more polite means of getting ones message across. Sorry if i offended

I think 2,000 - 4,000 are plenty. I mean some Bathurst winners are still available eg:
3,000 1988 Sierra
5,000 1969 HT Monaro
4,626 1991 Nissan
4,200 2000 VT
So maybe there are less than 2,000 collectors who collect the entire Bathurst Winners collection??? Also there will only ever be 2,000 complete sets as that is the smallest run of a Bathurst Winner - as far as I know...
Back on subject -- I can't wait to get this model being Holdens first Bathurst Win, the gaps are slowly being filled.

You may find it's as small as 500 at a rough guess...

Maybe there are only 500 people that collect every release, but I am sure the manufacturers allow for this by knowing that some cars have wider appeal.

Im one of those 500 then, cant wait till it arrives. Just got the email saying it has been sent. Should look great with the 69 Brock Monaro.
All these old winners are going to be great when i finally get to put them on the shelf together.

I have just pick mine up today, I love it... looks great but I did notice that the Tail shaft is Purple I don't think it made it to the paint shop, anyone else have the same problem or was I the lucky one
Great model and another Bathurst winner for the collection, each time one these cars comes out it's putting more pressure on me to chase the 65E as it's the Bathurst Winner I'm missing
I will score it one day, that's part of the game.... The Hunt... where there's a will.... there's away

They are all purple. From our research the tail shafts on the HK GTS327 models were purple as shown in the attached picture.

With the1974 XA Goss and 1975 PB Torana very close as well ,the 1968 till 1978 collection has been filled with the 1967 XR GT still to come.
The 1979/1980 are also somewhere in the pipeline.
The 1981 has already been done so that leaves the 1982/83/84 commodores, the 1985 Jaguar, 86 Grice, 87 VL PB still to be done.
the 1988 till 1992 are done 93/94 DJR/95 as yet and the 97/98 also as yet to be done.
It is well and truely looking good, shame that some are very doubtfull especially the Perkins and stonebros cars.
