Hello all,
I've just bought the Grice/Percy VL Walkinshaw. A very nice model.
However, one thing i did notice is that the passenger rear tyre is 'wobbly'. I've seen 10 models already with the same problem from different dealers. I thought this might have been particular to the same dealer with him receiving a bad batch.
Anyone noticed the same problem??

Grap your wheel brace and tighten the wheel nuts a little more:)

The wheel seems fine on mine, but the black paint has "seeped" through the door openings and into the interior. Not enough for me to lose sleep over though!

Mine's as tight as a babys bottom.
Nice model.....a sleeper.

Not wishing to upset anyone, but I'm not a fan of the VL model.
Wobbly wheels or not, the rim/tyre combination doesn't look right to me, particularly the tyres which look too tall in profile and too wide for the rim, more or less projecting beyond the body.
Also, the Castrol bonnet lettering appears too thin to be of a correct scale, and the headlights of incorrect shape.
Sorry boys, am I just too fussy ??

Graeme, I know what you mean about the Castrol lettering - it's a great model, but maybe not quite so accurate as some of the others, I don't know. Maybe that's one of the reasons I prefer the road-goers rather than the racers; with a single body colour you don't have to worry about getting all the sponsors' decals right!

Mine seem tight, my only problem with model is no black rubbers on side windows, makes it look a little like the Dinkum version, Youch that pains me to say that!!!!

I checked my model and found a BIG mistake in it ;
No oil in engine and the battery has also NO acid in it.
I have checked the wheels and they are tight. Also no rubbers on the wipers!
come on Biante lift your game, or do we blame this oversight on the ladies at Biante,so the guys are getting of scot free.:D
P.S. You better also not buy the roadgoing car as this has the "wrong" shockabsorbers on it (KONIsticker).
