Any chance this one is likely to be released as a seperate item?
It came out in the box set a few years back, but I only want the one car. I recall it being stated it would be seperately released.
Any news would be good. Is it still in the pipeline?
Thanks

No, this model will not be released seperately. We have never had any plans to release it as an individual item.

Many people remember it that way, nobody can find the post...I'm certain it was Trevor that said it.
I succumbed earlier this year and bought a 4-pack...they go for around $100-120 these days...
Richard, I've put it down to a Tasman moment...the world scale always misses out:eek::mad:

The 4-set is a ripper though and takes pride of place in my HRT collection.:)
I just hope the recent 1998/99 Skaife and Lowndes models will be made in 1:43 (pretty please)

I can understand where you are coming from VXFan, but I have three spare 1:43 cars...I might give them to the kids to play with:eek:
It's where I like CC's practice of releasing individual models AND twin sets ala SBR...although it would be better still to have the same release date so that buyers can choose...

Leigh, I reckon you are correct that there was 'official' mention that the 2001 Bathurst winner would eventually be done as a stand alone 1:43 model.
It was for that very reason I never even considered buying the 4-pack...

Sure you're not confusing it with the 1:18 which was released in the twin set and also individually for the Bathurst winners collection?.
The 1:43 was always intended for release in the 4 pack only.

If that was the case, many, many people were confused...
AFAIR, it was an affirmative response to a specific question...but as I said above, I have never been able to find the thread...
I actually find it ridiculous that I have to purchase items I don't fundamentally want in order to buy an item I do want...

I also was under the impression that it would be a single item. Not happy!!
Any suggestions as to where one might locate a 4-pack?

I picked one up on ebay recently...
Gateway Models had one as well.

I was definitely sure it was mentioned that it was to be done as a seperate item. I am not a huge HRT fan but am collecting Bathurst winners. Might have to do a decal conversion otherwise.
Seems lots of people have missed it. Any chance of doing it sometime in the future? Not all plans need to be concrete.
