I've heard that Mr Ingal was going to replace Neil at 00.
I've also heard that he was going to replace David at SBR but his win in Queensland put an end to it, which is why Rus signed with 00.

Who cares who he used to drive for, he now drives a FALCON !!!!!!

I hope the racing becomes more competitive..........I'm no downer on Holden but would prefer to see less dominance by the General.

Here's hoping......and I can't wait to watch the Bathurst Telecast next weekend:D

I think Neil Crompton will stay at 00 motorsport and Rodney Forbes gets the boot because he sucks big time.

SWRT,
i agree with you 100% regarding Forbs, but when your father finances & runs the team, i think his seat is safe, which is why i tend to believe that Neil will get the big boot.
cheers.

Interesting, I really thought that Rusty would end up at Stone Brothers as they are the number 1 Henry team by a country mile. I guess with a Level 1 Franchise only allowed to run 2 cars SBR were not about to give Dave Besnard the boot, more so after that great effort at the QLD 500.

Well I still think that SBR will be the number 1 ford team next year, so maybe rusty can expect simular results to Lowndes.

Lets us DJR fans hope for better results next year.

GO DJR & go the mighty FORDS.

Mountain out of a moll hill again I think. Russell goes to SBR. The newspaper article was twisted by people who cannot read without reading more into it. The article said that Russell will be joining Lowndes as the other renegade under Blue Oval. 00 Motorsport was not even mentioned. Now some people cannot distinguish between Ford and 00Motorsport by the looks of it.

I don't know who to believe about Ingall, but I can say that Rodney Forbes isn't a bad bloke at all. I met him at the Barbagallo round in Perth, and granted that he's not on the "A" list, he's happy to talk to race fans. Keep in mind that he gets the oldest and roughest cars in the 00 Motorsport team, so his performance is always going to be hindered.

It's great to meet the heroes like Craig Lowndes and Mark Skaife, but forget about conversation as everyone wants a piece of these guys.

As for Ingall, he'll be attracting attention off the others for some time yet. Nothing like the rumour mill to increase your exposure.

From what i understand, Besnard was going to get to boot for Russell, however his win at Queensland has saved his ass. The article i read in the Herald-Sun (Melbourne) yesterday, just stated that Rus would be in a Ford, but did not list for whom.
After a short search across various site on the web it appears that the most poplar team is 00 with Lowdnes, he was also linked to Prodrive but we all know that won't happen this year.
Go DJR at Bathurst !!!!!!
cheers.

I actually know David Besnard's Dad, and he said Russell Ingall has signed with SBR in the Caltex Falcon. They were going to run 2 Caltex Falcons but the money from Caltex wasn't fronted. David has been talking to 00 Motorsport, Rodney Forbes and Neil Crompton have been dumped by 00 Motorsport. Jeff (David's Dad) said also David is wanted by Mark Larkham for his second car that he is running next year, and another team based in Adelaide driving a Commodore I think he said, maybe Birrahna or whatever they're called, who run in the Formula Holden category. But he said Dave is very keen on a drive with 00.

Regards,

Glen

why cant the drivers just come out and say what they are doing, all this hush hush crap just leads to stupid rumours.as much as i like Ingall, nothing beats the Lowndes/Ford marriage.
Lowndes and Ingall(maybe) gone to ford to win a championship.
Two hopes....
