Hello all,
There have been several threads started which basically ask the question: please make ABC car.......
I was wondering out of all these suggestions, which Biante model has been made by Biante that originated from our suggestions.
Does Biante really take seriously our suggestions or do they have their own thoughts on what should be made for us to buy.
Of course they cant make every car that we suggest. They are after all a business that is here to make money for their stake holders. They need to make a model that will not only sell but it needs to sell fast.
Whilst on this subject, i was also wondering which model has been the quickest seller (probably resulting in a high 'resale' value for collectors) and which model has been the slowest seller (resulting in a low 'resale' value)???
Is licensing (having permission to make a particular body shape or livery) a big factor? It probably is but maybe they (Biante) could shed some light on how big it really is??
I know that from experience model makers seem to have only a few body shapes and will bleed that shape dry. Think about it. Biante really have only a limited number of body shapes (in 1:18 scale) and tend to concentrate on the number or variations (or racing livery) they can produce from it.
I mean in the Commodore range, there arent any VK's, VL etc. In the Falcon range, there arent any EB's, AU's etc.
They tend to stick to the VT/VX and XA/XC. At least in the Ford range they have now started to pump out a few XD/XE's.
What does every one think???
