Freddie Mercury.... my favourite entertainer. The ultimate showman.
Could perform incredible vocal gymnastics (ala 'Killer Queen'), or raw brutal power ('Princes of the Universe'). I have every Queen album on CD, every album bar one on vinyl, posters, memorabilia, books, videos, DVD's...
14 long years without him. Thanks for the notice.

Radio Ga Ga my favourite song from them. I have the Live Aid dvd set and the Queen performance is the hi-lite of the whole thing.

Sammy, being a KISS freak since the 70's, i didnt realise it was so long ago that eric had died, most people probably wouldnt know who eric was. The "forever " film clip, i love.

Bloody hell;) Small world, I was there also, Nov 1980. I was so "upset" that my hero Peter Criss had left before the Aus tour, only to be replaced by some "blow in" with fox make up.... only to become one of the best drummers in the world
P.S All you young blokes, bear with us and let us relive our childhood:D

My uncle lived near VFL Park and I listened to that concert from his back yard. I was devestated at being too young to go.

i was not permitted to go and see kiss in brisbane in 1980 i was too young ,so i was told(only 8 then), but i do remember going to the cinema to watch Kiss in Attack Of The Phantom and the line up was at least 100m or more outside the door to get in.i had to wait till `95 to see kiss live(saw them at the Hilton hotel in brisbane when they did an unplugged show then the following night at the BEC,then when they toured in `97 saw them 3 times, and on the gold coast on there "Farewell Tour":D but didnt go to the symphony show ,nor when they toured last year.
as for queen never got to see them live..:(

Your uncle could have lived in Tullamarine and you could have listened to it;)
Yeah Oh Five, I remember feeling a little cheated and disappointed at the time after waiting so long to see them and they rock up without Pete but, it was good to finally get to see them live!
Now you can't keep them away;)
