Guys I am thinking of getting myself a christmas present and I was planning on getting the GMP Gulf GT40.

Has anyone seen one on the flesh/metal and is it worth the money???

Cheers

James

Its the 1/12 scale not 1/18.

I've seen it in the flesh. It's a very nice piece of diecast.

Whether its worth the $800-$1000 they ask for it is another matter. I'm personally waiting for the 1:18 (from anyone).

It's an amazing model with real presence - size plus the striking Gulf paint job - and incredible detail (the perforated seats, dash, GT steering wheel, amazing exhaust system like a bunch of snakes, V8 and induction system etc). I can't afford one (good luck to you if you can!) and like Dingo I'm waiting for a 1:18 made by a decent manufacturer.

At that price I'll stick with my Beanstalk 1/18:eek:

Tony.

Ah, but that isn't the legendary 1969 car! And it's only 1:18....
