Do you mean like a Biante product or any model made by any manufacturer?

How about in all fairness, one for each, i.e. one selection for Biante and one for the rest?

Hi Everyone,

My 2 favourite cars

73391 - VT Commodore Police Car

Why? - My new husband is a Police officer so it has a special meaning to me.

22723 - Wild Violet XY

Why? - It was the first car I bought when I started at Biante and the XY is my favourite car and I love the colour purple !

Biante Model - Janson-Perkins 1979 A9X. Basically I like the look of it and also it was a good one to research. This one will probably be replaced by the 1982 Red Roo XE when it is released. Which will then be replaced with the 1979 Brock, then what ever comes after that.

Other - AA Mazda 787B. Great model and beautifully produced by Autoart. Also fits in to my LM winners collection. Soon to be replaced with the BBR 375 Plus LM winner.

thanks Brad.

It's just about to go to production. Dick has signed the certificates. Keep an eye on the newsletters in the next few weeks for more info.

Interesting read. Thanks to all who have taken the time to answer. I was just wondering if all the Biante employee's are collectors, or if there is anyone there that is there purely for the purpose of having a job?

We don't all buy every single model. Some buy the odd one or two. One collects all minicars and fords.

Really good to hear from some of the "backroom boys" (and girls) - thanks for taking time to reply! I suspect the Red Roo will overtake the Greens Tuf as my favourite Biante too......until something else comes along.

This thread in my opinion has given some enlighting resonses from both Biante staff and collectors alike ,
and has been a pleasure to view and partake.

Well 14 really when we count Raz the dog !

Raz sleeps most of the day (on a chair)..so does not do much except bark at the odd delivery person or scowl at anyone wanting to sit on his chair.

And all I seem to do these days is have meetings and pay bills.

Fave models - well I have a lot, so hard to choose..

My black employees Monaro sent by Peter Hannenberger which is probably one of the few not to have been through e-bay.

Nuremberg Toy Fair models, many Citroen models, a 1:18 Jeep model with my no. plates, a Brilliant Silver CLK Coupe and sadly my latest aquisitions - every No. 1 Biante model.

Hard to name just one as I have too many equally favourite Australian cars.
However the recently released gulf liveried Porsche RSR from the 2006 Le Mans makes a dynamic display and would be my choice at the moment.
