Quick answer: displaying you models..

I know this question has probably been asked before but is it true that leaving you cars on glass shelves can flat spot the tyres ?? I have mine currently sitting on carboard etc but i dont like the look and think they would look far better on glass... Does anybody display theres on glass shelves and have you had any problems with the tyres etc ??
