Has anyone recieved the new Biante XR GT Falcon, and has anyone had the chance to compare with the C.C.version.Also is it true that the new Biante release is limited to only 2000 pieces.

I only have the Biante XR GT, so I can not compare the 2 models. As for the numbers, 2000 is correct, better get in fast!

I have both the cars and came up with 47 differences between the two cars. from colour, ride height, to missing fuel pump and differences in the size of the fuel tank. Which model is right or wrong I realy don't know but I am quite happy with both the models.

like anything you get what you pay for the CC model is more detailed and a slightly better finish but for 50 bucks more than the biante. so it just comes down to personal choice

Maybe you could check some of the models a wee better, and one could come up with a slightly different view.
Butt lets not start this well worn path again, Buy what you like and be done with it.

FF are you trying to tell me the biante is a better quality model? i think its quite clear that it isnt, It is also alot more expensive hence you getting what you paid for im not trying to put down biantes models they are of the highest standard. i dont see the problem in my reply????

I don't think FF meant that at all mate. He's trying to avoid the never-ending 'which model is best' argument that we had a while back regarding the 24 hour Monaro which just went around in circles and got nowhere(the argument, not the car!lol:D )
So,I'm in agreement with him to an extent,i.e. Let's not go down that path again.
Cheers,
Tony.

Well put FF...

By the way I was unbiased and actually disagreed with FF on many occassion but after the CC Beechey Monaro, the 67 Bathurst winner, Jane Camaro and the Chargers I think irrespective of the gloss and fantastic detail one should try to at least try get it as close to "correct as humanely possible" and dont brag about the accuracy/authenticity which is hard to capture on most 30plus year old restored replicas...ps can you tell im not peeved hehehehe
