I just want to know if anyone is feeling a bit down this week? This is the usual week of the Aussie GP, where we not only see what F1 is post winter testing, but also get a preview of our V8s in full colour. I usually get psyched for the new season this week, but thanks to that old lady and her games, our grand prix has been postponed.

It's worked out well for me as I've pretty much had two days off in a month so I can now use this extra time I'm owed to pop down and see the cars in action as every other staff member at work is back on deck by the time the GP action begins..

I've had to reorganise and use a lot of favours, but I'll be at Fri, Sat and Sun of the gp. Can't wait. I'm looking forward to it already. Even lined up a cushy job on Monday as I'll probably be a little worse for wear as gp week-end is always a big one for me! :D

What I am going to miss is not going to the Melbourne Motor Show that is normally on at the same time as the AGP.
I see it was on last week.
Seems strange that it is not on at the same time

Jeff's Shed (where the motorshow is held) is where several Commonwealth Games events will be held...
After the Games and before the GP (I think it is 4 days), workers will need to tear down a grandstand, rip-up the asphalt under the grandstand and lay an FIA approved gravel trap at turn 3...
Cheers
