Well it's Rally Mexico in the WRC this weekend ! ... There's been a blood letting at Subaru with Lapworth given the heave ho' and some of the engineering staff also - Solberg and Atkinson better get some results otherwise the Subaru bosses are going to be rather unhappy I would imagine ! ... To top it off it seems that Phil Mills and Glen Mcneall must have got stuck into the taco's as they both have food poisoning !!! ... Hopefully Atkinson will have a good run seeing he's back on gravel and he's now got the experience in Mexico !

Lapworth may be moved mainly due to the steadily growing rumours about Prodrive moving in to Formula 1. Prodrive are seeking planning approval to build a new state of the art facility in Warwickshire and David Richards has admitted that a move in to the premier class may be on the cards. He has also had recent meetingss with Bernie and Max to discuss how the regulations will pan out after the current Concorde Agreement finishes.
Sorry to hijack the thread, back on subject. I'm really hoping for an improvement from Subaru in this rally. They went well here last year and I think Petter especially will be champing at the bit to erase the poor results suffered so far. He has to. The title shot he desperately wants is already starting to slip away.

This is not what we wanted to hear  !!!
Disappointing to say the least...
If Chris is going to stay in the WRC this sort of thing has to stop. It's not like he can play the lack of experience card anymore - I know he's only in his 2nd year, but it's time to perform........
Chris has got possibly one of the two plum drives this year & with a lack of serious manufacturer teams this could be his best shot at a title.
cheers. :)
