Just wondering who else went to the V8 Launch in Brisbane. It was packed so many people. Lucky I got there early around 8am so I could get some pics. It was well displayed along the parklands but some of the teams cheated by only having 1 car painted to each driver on each side. The autograph session was a bit of a joke. It was surposed to be 1 and a half hour session at 11 then at 1 but they but ended up being 45 mins each so alot missed out. So what did others think.

had the same problem in sydney last year the concept is good but i think some of the teams place more importance on the melbourne motor show for releasing new cars,

I went there just to get some photo's of the cars, i then went to the motor show as the autograph session was always going to be a pain.

The best beat was too walk around and get the drivers as they were having coffee/breakfast. I saw 3 guys/kids ( they were way younger than me :D ) with a heap of COA's about to attack Murphy when i was walking around at about 10 am

Good to see all of the car/s there, however being a fan of the transporters also, if was a shame the following transporters weren't there ie BOC, MORRIS/Team Kiwi, Tasman, WPS, AutoBarn & Fujitsu. There also advertised that there would be 15 "25 metre B Doubles". The only 2 B Doubles were the series trucks, which looked great. Anyhow it is good to see Brissie hosting the launch.

There were a heap of Transporters parked down next to the concention centre. I think they were BJR PCR PMM and another one or 2 that i didnt take much notice of.

Great pics ... I took some video but haven.;t figured out how to get it small enough to do anything with it ! .. The new liveries look really good but have to agree that the WPS car is a shocker ! ... My pick as the best looking cars - the Jack Daniels Commodores - awesome !!

If you look at the window banner on the WPS car it says "COSWORTH" .. I know Gorey runs Cosworth engines in the Champ Car - Does anyone know if they use Cosworth built engines in the V8 Supercar or is this just a plain sponsorship $$ deal

According to the latest V8x magazine WPS Racing engine builder Craig Hastead has entered into a development program with Cosworth with a longer-term plan for Cosworth to supply customer engines to other V8 teams..
