Can some one tell me why the Johnson XC coupe is in a black sealed box and the rest of his collection is in white veiwable boxes , very annoying for displaying , thats all .

All Biante XC Falcons - Johnson and Moffat examples - come in foam-filled closed boxes.
I understand that this is a cheaper and "safer" method of packaging compared to the window boxes, as both the model and the box are less likely to incur transit damage.
The idea then of course is to remove the model and display it, as was always fundamentally intended .

Just a guess,
but i think it was the first model to come in a fully sealed box at the time (no windows etc), personally i believe this was the best packaged of all of this collection. Because, it gave the model the best protection from damage during storage/transport etc. The only downside, is that you have to remove it from the box to look at it.
Hope this helps,
Cheers.
