Had anymore thoughts about that code 3 buddy ;) ???
I wonder where we can find some wheels......???
I have been thinking about a code 3 Stubber car since Bathurst. It gets more and more tempting every day! ;)

Still looking around Tony. Hope to get a real close look at the Stubber car at Phillip Island and take a few detail photos of it. I'll decide from there. Will also have to try and find out things like the colour, etc.
I'm in no hurry as I've never tried anything like this before.

Gotta love it. I have decide to make the car from 2004 as the car from last season seems to have the bonnet 'bent up' a little in the middle.
You can see it seems to be raised in the middle on that calendar shot.

All he is doing is running the '69 bonnet. The Canadian and '69 TranAm cars from GMP have it.

A few of us have been discussing this since Phillip Island (and the bonnet seems to be more raised than on the other Camaro's. I think Mike had the shots that showed it best.
Anyway, a 2004 version will be the first one, and maybe the 2006 one later. ;)

Yeah the bonnet "well I should say hood as we are talking about the US muscle car :P" is an odd topic.
Here is a pic of the 1969 Camaro Trans-Am Canadian.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v191/road_runnne r_72/StuffMixed/69cana.jpg
As you know 69 camaros do have a very small lip-up in the middle.
But looking at this photo I took, it's a tad bigger than a small lip-up.

I am not sure, but I don't think it is just the bonnet. Looking at the panel work immediately above the grill, the centre seems to be bent upwards letting more air into the engine bay. The cars racing in the US at the time were nearly flat all the way across. With it raised, he would then need to do the same to the bonnet to try and hide it. This would then make the bulge more prominent.

The quality of it isn't too bad, but it's not in the same league as a Biante minicar for detail(think it was made by Welly for Biante). I have one they were given out at the first Muscle Car Masters, would be better if it had minilite wheels on it :D
