Flat spots

This is not i topic on how to prevent them i just want to know does it actually happen. I have had my cars sitting in their boxes for awhile now and ive got my display case ready to put them in with glass shelves. All i want to know is do the tyres actually falt spot on 1/18 cars ??

I went to make a spot in the cabinet for the display of my latest acquisition and was amused to find that some of the cars did indeed have flat spots.
