I was just wondering why it is that you's are always talking about ordering models straight away and etc... i know its cos you all want them soon i understand that but what i dont understand is this. Why do models always sell out so quickly on the website, because if a model is sold out on the website or it says Sold Out under it does that mean it is sold out in all shops around Australia without having to buy second hand? Is it because Biante don't make enough models that if you don't order staraight away you don't get one, so basically if your young like me and you have to save up, theres not much chances of getting the cars you want?

Thankyou for any help.

Two part answer:
1: keep an eye on the web site for models in the new model show room, and budget for what will be coming in stock soon!
2: No, most retail outlets will take your order for up coming models, and quite often will have a treasure on the shelf!

In addition, ask if there is a laybuy option available at your model shop.......

Happy collecting :)

When the SOLD OUT appears on an item on the web site, it refers to the website supply only. Shop supplies have no bearing on this.
Don't try and collect every model made if you can't afford to, just the one's you really like. It's much cheaper. Maybe look at collecting the 1:43's and the occassional 1:18 when one takes your fancy.

The really sad things is the fact that some of the 43rds are now in the $70+ zone.

I too feel very sorry for anyone without a well paying job who wants to do this hobby.

I agree it is very difficult, i am uni student with a part time job and must plan ahead. However, I feel that biante does a good job in letting people know what is coming and i pop down to triking shortly after the web release and 99% of the time i get what im after.

btw, just tell ur folks/g/friend etc it is not spending as such, more like transferring money into a different form of investement! :p and no, i never intend to sell my models.
