I have a suggestion for Admin in regards to Advance Orders for new model releases which I think would be fairly simple to implement....see what you think......
If you are registered to receive the newsletter and the newsletter informs you there is a model release due on a certain date & time....then why can't you just pre-order & pay by replying to the newsletter you have received. That way biante knows that the address they have sent the newsletter to is current etc.
We all subscribe to get the newsletter so that we don't miss out on a model.....however there are lots of people like me who have missed out on some models, even though we log on at the times mentioned......and all you have to fall back on is the newsletter you received..."Not happy Jan" or should i say Richard!!!!!
I know I can buy models from the model shop and have done so....but I like the points reward system for buying from Biante....but it seems we get no other reward for this other than receiving the newsletter and missing out on certain models............
I am sure there are lots of other people like me that would be happy to pre-order and pay for the model rather then take my chances to be online when the hour + minute + second the model is released and pray to God that you get one.
The news letter tells you the model is going to be released.....take a pre order then and also release the balance of models on the chosen release date for those that can't
pre-order......
Is it that hard????
I just don't want to miss out anymore on the great models we all love collecting!!!!

I understand your frustration and what you are saying but there are a few problems with this solution.
A) If you reply to the newsletter then the order wont be processed through the secure server and bonus points will not be awarded.
B) 97% of people that purchased the Brock VR are club members and receive the newsletter.
C) The car went on site at the advised time and was available for a few hours when place don the site on Thursday.
The best we can do is advise our collectors when the car is going to be on site and then make the car available at that time. Once the cars is on site then I am afraid it is all up to you.

Richard, I am going to pick up my VR today so can you please come over to my house and unpack it for me. That would be great, thanks.
Sorry for being sarcastic guys but come on, show some initiative and do something for yourself, if you missed out, however unfortunate, it is not anyone at Biantes fault. We all receive the same newsletter and I knew when the VR would be on sale (remember, us easterners are now 3 hours ahead of Perth). I kept checking back for a few hours as I was interested in how fast it sold. If you were on the site at the notified time then you would have been able to order (provided you know that you have to click the refresh button to renew the page).
I missed out on models when I first started to collect and it was nobodys fault but my own. I haven't missed out on a wanted model since.

Think you guys are being a bit unrealistic and hard on Biante and Richard.
We get two weeks notice via In Transit info, then 5 days notice of the EXACT time its going on site.
People are asking for Biante to list and answer every question they can think of and some even want a history of the company. Get real!!
This is about the only company anywhere I know of who interacts daily with its customers on the website and there is enough info flowing to keep the most demanding collector in the picture. As far as making huge lists of whats coming and 'are you making this', 'are you making that', until Biante came along there was nothing...now there's heaps and no doubt there will be a lot more in the years ahead.
I suggest that if you have to get your Mum to wake you up, wash your face and put you on the bus to work, you subscribe her to the newsletter. I am sure she will be able to order the cars OK.

i completely forgot on the day of the brock vr to order myself one. it wasnt until i got home that night that i realised what happened.
i got on 4 HOURS after it was released to find i could still get one!!
ordered it on Thursday, received it on Monday !!
how good is that ! Biante, you should be rewarded for fast and efficient service
What a load of crap. Not everyone can sit in front of their computer for the exact time that the cars will be on sale, some do work. I believe everything is pre-ordered and sold to distributors first..Biante customers second- which sucks. I dont care much on missing out on this Brock model, but it becoming ridiculous trying to secure yourself a model on this site.;)

As has been said by Mark in another thread, the website is treated exactly as any other Biante stockist. We order our stock the same as all of the other stores and then sell it the same as them. There are thousands of people registered for the collectors club so offering pre orders for club members only weill not make any difference to the final outcome.
We have tried to make it as fair as we can to all people as not everyone has access to the internet at work and it is the same for people at home. We can't please everyone but we do try to please as many as we can.

yes, some people do have alot of work on their hands. me included.
there have been many occasions where i have managed to buy 'hot' items from biante. the vr was only one example.
if you want something so bad you will work out how to do it. you dont have to sit next to your computer waiting.....
excuses, excuses............
