I was listening to a sydney radio today and they had an interview with Richie Benaud ( cricket ) and when the interview finished i was actually dissapointed, I could of listened to him for ours. Not sure why, I know he is a clever man but there is something about him?

And also on the same topic i was watching a video were Ayrton Senna was being interviewed and ( due to time passed ) we forget how intelligent he was, how lucid was him mind. I amdired him when i was younger but 12 year on I guess I fully understand that it was not just his driving skills.

An other person that i alway wanted to hear more was Frank Gardner, He did not say much but what ever he said was worth listening. I always wondered how the spoiled brat of Longhhurst coped with Him???

I read a book on Richard Branson. That was an eye opener.

Harry Firth. What he has done in his life is extraordinary. I speak with Harry regularly and he remembers even the most minute detail. Ask him about one particualr car and he'll list where it came from, where it went to, what was special about it, everything.

Could also, and have done, listen to John Goss for hours. The stories these guys have are just magic.

Well not so well known, but when i was living in Sydney and there sons were racing karts, i could have talked to Kev Bartlett and Ralph Radburn all day. Probably why the kart was never worked on between heats :p

Peter and Jamie Larner are also interesting to talk to, especially Pete's old race stories...

Once had a guy whos name escapes me but he brought a model of the 68 Bathurst winner as he crewed on the car.... He later raced HQ's in the 80s, 90s... wait hang on, Robin Keitley i think hes name was....

For those who live in Melbourne and I think Adelaide get it on SEN1116am on Monday nights between 8 and 9 they have what is called 'The Legends Hour' where they speak to legends and Football and cricket (I don't think they have Motorsport personalities even though they Brocky on at the start of the year).

It's always interesting some of the stories that come out of the mouths of these great sportsman, pity it's not on for 2 hours.
