View Full Version : hrt and hyl 2002 bathurst cars
Hey just wondering when the 2002 hrt bathurst cars will be coming out and if they will come in the "boxed set" of the two hrt cars as they did last year.
Also are the going to bring out the hyl 2002 bathurst car?
Finally, will these cars be detailed like the 2002 brock bathurst car (air ducts, more detailed cabin, etc.)?
Thanks alot.
Nick
How about having the 1/43 HRT/HYL Bathurst cars in a gift set style box?
Maybe they can also include the K-mart Bathurst 1/43 cars then it would a a TWR Bathurst 1/43 gift set.

No offence Nick, but I feel all we really need is just the 2002 Bathurst winning car, as there is so many current releases to get.

SWRT,
The TWR box set is a great idea.
ADMIN if your scanning this reply give us the option to buy all five cars in a HRT style box like last year.
Dress it up with all the TWR Australia teams logos and stats for all drivers for the year 2002.
Limit it to 1000 peices and put the right price on it.
Put me down for 2 please, go on I dare you to make it.

Just received my Club 1 newsletter and they say the 2002 Bathurst Winner will be available end of Jan early Feb 2003.
TWR pack of 1:43s would be cool... keep the price down this way. otherwise 5 cars in 1:18 ehhhh

The TWR pack sound like a good idea.
What would they do...........2002 Series cars or Bathurst cars ?
Grubby
My suggestion is a Bathurst 2002 TWR 5 car 1/43 box set.
I hope Mr Admin is hearing this.

I think it would be great if the Bathurst cars came out in minicar form.
The idea of a box set sounds great, but in any other size the costs could make them very expensive (which is why is suggested the minicar scale), thinking of the HRT 2001 bathurst set in 1:43 was close to $300 to buy. Just imagine if all of the bathurst cars were done, how much would that send us back ?.
just my thoughts,
cheers.

I think you've struck GOLD!. The idea of having
the BATHURST WINNERS as 1:64 scale is a great
idea. I don't think it would be too costly.

As seen in another post we are in for a feast of 1:64's.
Bathurst sets were not on the list but would be appreciated by all I'm sure.

Perhaps a top 3 finishers from Bathurst would be a good pack.
Now if we could CC to allow Biante to make a Perkins car we'd be all set - as if that will happen !!!
A Biante Minicar set of all TWR Bathurst cars sounds more logical than a 1/43 set.
Maybe CC's might agree to a 1/64 podium set if they get paid by Biante.

I bet admin will be impressed to read this - not !!!
Would be great if it did happen, but I think it'll remain a pipe-dream.

nice job glen,
might copy your idea someday, when I get a display cabnet for all of my models. Just need the house to put the cabnet in first.
cheers.
