Hey guys, I don't know whether intro posts are allowed on here, so I apologise if they aren't. I signed up to this great forum a little while ago, but thought I'd make a post to say hi and state what a great source of info this site is for the beginner model collector like myself.
Thought I'd post a couple of shots of my collection so far, I know it pales in comparision to a lot of others on here however. But I've only been collecting for about six months or so and there is only so much the bank balance can take :D
Here are some pics of my Skyline collection:

Thanks to Mike (roadrunner72) for putting me onto the forum.
Look forward to chatting with more Skyline and other enthusiasts in general on here.
Cheers
Ben

Zilla,
A very nice collection you have there.
I especially like the Silver GT-R.;)
Could you give us a rundown on which model manufacturer created these cars?
Cheers.:)

A lot of skyline's in different scales, all you need is a 1/1 scale now to add to the collection.

Thanks guys for the replies.
Crankmyshaft, the silver R34 is the AutoArt Z Tune model which was released earlier this year, the real life version is pretty impressive.
VXFan, I've seen pics of Andrews and a couple of other members collections, they are unreal!
Lexoto, the 1:1 was the first one to my collection, I now have 1:1, 1:18, 1:43 and 1:64 versions of the gunmetal grey R32 GT-R :D

Has the plates 'Z1LLA' hence my username.
Also you may see the white Datsun 1200 coupe at the back of the top shelf, thats because I have a 1:1 of that too:

Thanks again guys.
Brchi17, yes the Datto is rotary powered, has a 13B Turbo under the bonnet, are there many rotorheads on here?

He Ben, glad you posted your collection, & also some of them Skylines look very familiar :)
I like how you have made the mirrored back in your display cabinet, very nice.
Well my rotary days ended years ago when I wiped off my Mazda 929 in a bad accident, as for a P plater who thought he was invincible, the power of the motor brought him crashing back down to earth real fast & hard.
But I know someone around here who loves Datsuns, & feels if he finds this post he will be one happy man.
Your “Z1LLA” is one awesome ride, feel free if you ever cruzing around to drop past my place in that, my 1:1 is now going as I need to get one for the road, but might have to also say goodbye to my other 1:1 SS.
Just have to say I love your taste in cars, ever tho were a minority around here lol
Cheers

Thanks Mike, the cabinet is actually from Ikea and the part where I keep the cars is meant to be a mini bar which is why it has the mirror and such, I think it worked out nicely.
Nice GTS-T you have there John, Symmons Plains is a good track, I had the opportunity to rip some donuts on there a few years back in the Datto, here is the vid lol: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xOzE-M_Q0U

Hi Ben,
Great to see another Skyline fan on here. We are a small but dedicated lot! Good on you Mike for bringing another 'believer' to the fold here on Biante!
Ben, you have a great collection there. I am particularly envious of the Dinkum #2 1991 GT-R, and the Dinkum GIO GT-R. I also spy a DeAgostini Calsonic R32 GT-R as well (If I'm not mistaken....) Very nice collection, and I have to say your 1:1 looks superb too. Now THAT I am jealous of!!!!! :-)
Welcome once again, and I look forward to conversing with another like-minded Skyline fan!
Cheers

Thanks Andrew, I have seen pics of your collection and it is impressive (just like Mike's). Glad to give the Skyline followers a bit of a boost (pardon the pun).
Yep thats a De Agostini R32, since that photo was taken I have also picked up a 1991 Bathurst winner in 1:18 scale, an Ebbro Calsonic R31, along with the #23 Pitwork R34 JGTC Car in 1:18 and the 1:18 Unisia Jecs R32 (waiting upon delivery eagerly for the last two)
Thanks again guys for the welcome.
