I've bought many cars from Model Cars of the World and have found them fantastic. Packaging is satisfactory, but I have yet to experience any scale model car business that comes close to Biante's quality of 'everything'.

I recommend to you, as I have always done with MCW, that you establish, without any qualification or guessing. the condition of the original box/packaging.

I have bought off this crowd before. They are located in Burwood, Victoria.

There prices seem to be abit overpriced but if you need a particular model and cant find it anywhere else then you have to pay it i suppose. Apart from the prices they are very friendly to deal with.

They are not a big store (physically) but actually have thousands of models stacked right up to the ceiling !!!

I was looking for a Ford Sierra in 1/43 & this store has: Shell/DJ 17-$95-00; Oxo/Miedecke-$40-00; Texaco-$40-00. Gateway Models in Brisbane has: Shell/DJ 17-$55-00; Shell/Bowe-$95-00;Mobil/Brock-$89-00; Oxo/Miedecke-$35-00! Needless to say, I bought the Oxo car from Gateway. Just an example of how prices can vary.

I haven't used them. But my advice is to use them once and if you're not happy with the service dont use them again. Stick with what you know.

I have bought from there before, very friendly staff.
Can't comment on having the model sent as I have only bought in person.
