Found this sticker on the side of a filing cabinet while cleaning up at work the other day. On the sticker it says Goss racing and I assume it's John Goss. Can anyone shed any light on whether he actually raced in this livery. I hope the picture works.

Rascot,
Could you please elaborate on the two stickers on the side of the vehicle. I've downloaded it, but too small to read. It is definately looks like an XC (Opt 97) and was possibly raced at Bathurst with Henri Pescarolo. In the records they only completed 118 laps and did not complete the race. Couldn't find a photo to back up my theory though.

The Moffat team was not the only two car Ford outfit at Bathurst in 1978.

The automotive body protection company Endrust and affiliated paint protection company Armourglaze were sponsors of a two car team consisting of John Goss / Henri Pescarolo and Rusty French / Graham Moore.

The image posted on the website shows the Endrust logo on the rear side flanks of the car and Armourglaze on the front guards.

Both cars were plagued by fuel pickup problems in the race with the Goss car retiring after covering 67 disjointed laps, and whilst French's car was still circulating at the end, it was not classified as a finisher due to insufficient (90) laps covered.
