Hi inter and everybody :), I thought I would pop in and say hi after receiving a message from a fellow forum member who told me about queries as to our/my whereabouts and to say it's nice that people are concerned or interested in what older members are up to .

well I suppose there's no way around the issue except to say that I haven't been able to keep up with all the forums I used to frequent including this one due to health issues although I have popped in from time to time just to see what's happening especially release wise .

I just found I could no longer keep up with them all so I've mainly stuck to one and even that's been very difficult at times , I'm ok though so no need to worry or fuss and I'm still collecting albeit not as many purchases as I would like(like most guys I guess :D) but the passion hasn't dropped that's for sure and it's still a great feeling to pick up those wanted models .;)

anyhow I will try to pop in more often and catch up with the goings on and maybe add the odd post or two , I must say that it's nice to be remembered though so thanks again Inter and others who may have wondered what we are all doing now even if we aren't around very often anymore .

Happy Collecting guys & Cheers , Jim .

I caught up with Kiwiracing (Darren) at the Noosa Hillclimb on Thursday arvo and also on Saturday night at the street party in Noosaville. Darren was at the Suncoast Classic with his trusty camera taking heaps of great shots of the cars in action. His web site drmphotos.com is going well and he has been very busy with work lately. He is hoping to catch up with the Biante forum mob at the paperclip in 2 weekends time.

Cheers
John

Hey John where abouts was Darin hiding?

He was between turn 3 and 4 on Thursday. After you left, I went up to turn 10 for a couple of hours and then headed back down to the start line. I bumped into Darin on my way down the hill. He had some good shots of the Daytona after it hit the wall.

Cheers
John

Hi Guys

Sorry no contact for a couple of years (just about) god knows where that time went. Yes Brad you were almost right, we moved to Brisbane 2.5 years ago, haven't bought a model for about the same time (hmm when we bought our house) actually sold my 1:64 collection last year for $800 odd.

John great to see you at the SunCoast Classic (sorry I missed you Luke) and as John mentioned I have been busy building our Motor Sport Photography business (on the weekends that is) which is going great guns, with our images appearing in quite a few publications, webs etc. Shooting at Morgan Park Raceway, QR, Mt Cotton Hill Climb and others.

I also built the web site for Morgan Park Raceway (www.morganparkraceway.com.au) and I photograph most events there plus this weekend I'll be at the Paper Clip as an accredited V8 Supercar Photographer!

You can checkout my work here: www.digitalrealism.com.au This is now our main web site.

Will try to post every now and then.

Cheers
Darin (aka Kiwiracing)
