Webber first points model.

There is a story going around that there could be a first points Minadi ps002 brought out ,a la the Kimmy's Sauber, around the time of the next Melbourne GP!
I ,personaly hope that this wiil come to fruiition as this will be a great model with a lot of memories for a lot of people.
We will also see for sure a Jaguar 2003 in 1/18 by Mattel so the collection of Mark Webber is kicked off now hoping it will go on and on all the way to the top. Lets hope that Ford gets it right .

I personaly liked the special commemorative models that were brought out for the running of selected GP's . Now this seems to be substituted by special racemodels with drivers depicted in it .
the last one to surfice is a Prost with Alesi as a driver when he got 5th in the Monaco GP in 2oo1 .There are only 500 of these and at the moment for sale in France

Minichamps will be releasing Webbers 5th place model in 1/43 scale. There is no picture on the website yet, but the model is named.

I just thought that since Webber drives for Jaguar and Jaguar being owned by Ford theres a good chance of seeing Mark Webber driving at Bathurst 2003 in a BA Falcon.
Webber revealed in a chat room session eariler in the year he really wants to try get a deal together and that if he signed with a new team(Jaguar) he'd try get the Bathurst weekend off to race here.
Hopefully a AGP 2003 he makes a deal with a V8 supercar team.
He may drive the 2nd Ozemail car because Colin Mcrae was meant to drive it but when the deal got put off they signed Cleland instead.
