Firstly, hello to you all, i've only just registered, but have been looking around this forum for some time now.

I have recently bought a model from Biante for the first time, and i've still have not received it. It's been more then three weeks since my payment, and i've sent several emails out, non of which have been replied to.

I would simply like to know what i can do about this before any further action is taken.

Thanks and apologies for the bad start to the forum.

Welcome to the forum :)

When I have had a problem with my order I have just emailed Nathan (nathan@biante.com.au (http://forums.biante.com.au/nathan@biante.com.au) ) and he has always answered promptly and fixed the problem

G'day and welcome to the Forum.

It is also recommended to place the order number in the subject line when e-mailing Nathan about orders too.

I forgot to mention that, I usually forward the order confirmation email to him (so you have the whole subject line) with my message at the top

...and there has been a new computer system put in the warehouse which is proving problematic.
and not to mention if the item was sent by Aust Post... i received my 1:43 Brock #1 and the 1:18 Moffat #9 on the same day after being ordered a week apart. the Brock car came through what could easily be mistaken for the Australian Rugby team training devision (Australia Post) and the Moffat car came overnight Air Express. Both cars had delays in being processed, which didnt bother me, but the Torana took a week before it arrived in Melb from Perth:mad:

Welcome, and maybe your area where you live would help in your signature.

Thanks for the welcomes.
I've emailed Nathan three times and there hasn't been a response, which is strange seeing from what i've read, the service is really good.
ferrari fan, i've added some details into my profile.

Would it be rude to ask why the system has changed so much? Only a few months ago I could order on the Wednesday and it would be in my hands by Friday of the same week. Was great.

We seem to be paying the same postage costs....??

Generally 1:43 & 1:64 get sent by AusPost and take about a week but when AAE is used for 1:18 it still only takes 1-2 days for me to get it in Sydney

I have tried calling them a few times now, and no answer. This is starting to get a bit annoying. Is anyone from this forum a Biante employee or able to contact one?
Thanks.

I did this yesterday and got a reply ASAP. Models a little slower, but service still good.

Any luck yet?
I thought that they at Biante were a lot more forthcoming than what you are experiencing.

Thanks for your concern guys. I have received one response stating that i haven't paid, and one saying that my order is now cancelled due to me not paying. So it seems that i've just given them my money for nothing.
So many people say they have good service, yet why did it take four weeks to reply to about six emails, a fax and several calls (which weren't answered)?
Now that my order has been cancelled, is there much else i can do?

try pitstop models (http://www.pitstopmodelcars.com.au/) they're online & Larry is very good to deal with ;)

Do you have any record of your payment? If so, that's the first thing I'd be hitting them with. Hopefully there has just been some sort of error and if you can prove to them you've paid then hopefully it can all be sorted out.
What payment method did you use?

brchi17, i don't mind if i don't receive my model, but i have paid for it, so i would like my money back if the model can't be sent for any reason. I would also like to inform them of their poor service to me.
wayno, I paid via bank deposit. I still have the receipt which i faxed to them a few days after my payment.
So no one here besides the admins work for Biante here? I would really appreciate it if someone could contact them for me.

my mistake villeneuve, I must of misread/omitted parts of what I was reading as I wasn't aware that you were out of pocket, this is a great shame & one which I am amazed Biante have dropped the ball on....

If it was me, I'd be sending pm's to Richard (biante ceo) & Nathan (online it guru) as between them you'd love to think that they should be able to solve your problem...Good Luck !

Yeah. I'm surprised, and a little disappointed, to be honest.
