With so many Biante -AU XR8 'V8 Supercars' why cant we have
a road version of the AU XR8 or at least a TE50/TS50. I am sick to death to see so many HSV cars on the road why not something unique from FPV nee Tickford.

Paradise Garage have made AU XR8 1/43's and also Tickford TE50 1/43's(older ones, not the newer ones seen at the Sydney motorshow 2001).

Yes I agree with you 100 %.

A nice road going XR8 would be nice.... in the new metali blue.

When they make a XR8 Ute, this will be tops! I'll be first in.

Cheers

I own the Paradise Garage versions and they are not a bad makeup but the paintwork leaves little to be desired on the XR8 version, plasticy rims on both models and the stick on tail lights, they need improvement.

I'm sure that Biante could grossly improve these models and with a few modifications to the race cars, I believe we could have a good quality product, not only in 18th but in 43rd as well.

Why not??

You've got to have road or track versions.

When the AU got launched my Dad got a red paradise garage 1/43 XR8 from the Sydney motorshow.
I also got a paradise XR8 cop car recently which is good for detail.

When I posted this item on the forum last night I was not looking for replies to the 1/43 Paradise Garage car but a 1/18 scale AU Falcon XR-8.

Maybe Admin might have heard your suggestion but it be more profitable to make BA falson models at the moment.Maybe after the BA models are made 1/18 AU XR8 models will be made.
Classics have said they will be making 1/18 VU SS and XR8 utes as well.

I would also buy an XR8 if was produced in 1/18, probably the tickford ones aswell.
Hopefully will see some modern road Fords produced.
Wack in a ute collection for both holdens and fords too, would be fantastic.
