  • Thanks guys. Really appreciated those kind words.

To answer your question, Ken. I'm definitely not following on from my predecessors and starting a new model car company. I'd rather not die young from the stress thanks! It was great to meet you last year too though

It's been a thoroughly enjoyable 12 years for the most part and I'm very thankful for the experiences and friendships I've gathered along the way.
I'll still remain in the hobby as an occasional collector but it's time for a change of direction professionally.
In regards to the forum, it's been fun interacting with all you gents on here over the years and meeting a few of you in person. Thanks for being so patient waiting for answers and generally just being good blokes
          Cheers!
Thanks Julian for all your help and time over the years in answering all our questions in regards to model updates and releases but sad to hear you are leaving. Good luck and all the best for the future, hopefully we will still see you on the forum as a collector occasionally.

Who will be the person we can ask now for model updates after you go and finally before you go any last update on the Seton and Jones EFs.

Now worries at all. I think Rich will be keeping an occasional eye on the forum now so he might be able to help you guys with info.
The EF's have just started production again so we have everything crossed we can get them finished before the Chinese New Year but it will be touch and go.

            • Hi Julian >> Only just saw your post about this being your last week >> Sorry to hear your leaving :: You've always been so helpful to us collectors - even when we get a bit too passionate about our hobby !!

I Guess IF you see this - Can I ask a last question > The White VK HDT Commodore 1:18, Will the shops see this before Christmas ? IT is almost the exact car I used to own ( same body kit etc ). IF yes, I hope the shop I deal with gets it - because its only just got the triple 8 12hr Mercedes & it was released weeks ago ??

Thanks again for all your help.

                • Although it seems to be a bit quiet on the official replies. But was just wondering if thereís any idea of who might make the 1:18 Bentley Bathurst 12hr winner? It would be awesome to keep the collection going.

Couple of options on that one. I believe they're working with Bentley to confirm who will produce it but it will definitely happen. Hope to have an announcement made shortly once they work it all out with Bentley.

                      • Itís maybe been asked but any definite date as to when the next smattering of 2019 ZB 1/64ís will be landing? Some great cars in there that I canít wait to get my hands on, like the BJR and Team 18 cars!

Unlikely any 1/64's will be produced at this stage. Orders have been a percentage of even our lowest MOQ across the board so due to this it's not possible for us to go to production. We're still trying a few options to make them viable and we'll have this confirmed in the next week or so but it's not looking good.

                          • Richard, I have noticed on the recent ZB releases that there is an issue with the sticker that runs along the top of the rear window. The decal is flaking off at the point where a groove runs under the decal.
Have you seen or heard of this issue and can it be fixed before more ZB's are released?

                            Cheers.

Yes, well aware of those issues. We actually moved the tooling for our Supercars from that tooling across to another that we work with once the parts were completed for the last batch of 2018 cars. This has contributed to some delays on our 2019 cars but the samples we've received are very good so we don't expect that to happen on the next batch. The other reason to move the tooling was to have a specialised Supercars factory so we aren't trying to produce too much from the one supplier. This factory can concentrate on our Supercars only so we can bring them to market much faster.

                              • Thanks for your quick response Richard.
It's good news to hear that the problem has been addressed for future releases. Awesome.
