  • Biante News, Announcements and Updates

Hey everyone, I'm starting this new thread to try kick off a more interactive relationship with all our forum members.
    It will contain everything below;

    - New model announcements.
    - The new newsletters
    - The weekly releases.
    - News.
    - Updates on any of our new projects like the VN etc.
    - News about any collectors nights or events we're going to.
    - A sneak peak of a model in development here and there.

Plus I'll try answer any questions where I can. I won't be able to keep an eye on it every second of the day but I will be on here regularly
The thread will be open to everyone so feel free to contribute.

I'll post the 1st question then Julian, what is the intention/likelihood of the Mad Max Falcons being remade and available 3rd Qrtr as it shows on the website, and what's been "upgraded"?

The 'clean' version is on its way down to us as we speak but not due for release until mid/late August. Upgrades as far as I know are the addition of metal etch parts to the engine.
The muddy version we're unsure of at this stage... Expect numbers to be extremely limited. I doubt we'll get anywhere near what we've ordered unfortunately.

          Hi Julian,

Will the Johnson Silverstone TT Sierra be released closer to the end of the 3rd quarter or earlier?

          Cheers
          Brett

            Hi Brett
We're anticipating delivery of the Johnson Sierra in September with a release probably in October at this stage. A little later than we hoped but the good news is we will have Dick signing the certs as we've come to a new agreement as outlined in the latest newsletter.

Great stuff, thanks Julian. I am happy to wait a little longer to help get the $$ sorted.

And to push my luck, any idea on when we might see the Seton 1993 title winner?

                Hi Julian.

Are we likely to see Biante produce any COTF V8 Supercars - for 2013 and beyond? I've seen a swathe of spruiking on the Biante FB page about the BJR boys, so that indicates to me that it's not an impossibility.

                Also, what's your favourite colour.

                Cheers,
                Matt.

No worries Brett. Hoping to have the 93 ATCC Winning EB in August/September.

                    Hi Matt
Nothing to report just yet on the COTF V8 Supercars but we are working on something... Announcement to happen in the coming months.

As for favourite colour, it would be blue by a nose over red

It's still in the pipeline Fatty but there's a few important issues to work through first. Definitely a possibility though.
