Maybe Biante website took the best ones then...

thats Ok, i was only speculating anyway. I don't have a clue as to why some cars are so much better than others.

Could it have any think to do with, how and when, they are packed into the sea container?
Was it a dry or a damp day and would those cartons packed nearer the walls of the container be affected by outside humidity and/or heat?

Out of curiosity rayman.....did they come with the ciggie decals on already....or did you have to get them elsewhere?

They look as though they came with them on?

Although I'm sure you weren't amused when you opened the box.
Hopefully Biante can get their QC sorted soon. You can't expect a perfect model but thats just well, crap.
                Thanks Thomas.
My retailer will be the first to attest to the fact that i am the last person that would go head to tail over a model before buying it.
Just so happens that the Moffat offering is without doubt THE single worst piece of diecast I have seen.
Trust me mate, the pictures do not show half the issues.
I actually thought the white bits were from the thick tissue wrap the model was in,but after trying to pick a piece of the roof and actually exposing the undercoat,I left the rest.
Oh well,i just hope that my model is a one off and others find gems when they open theirs.

Given they are water-slides we are discussing, one would imagine that several different staff at the factory are involved in applying them - and maybe some are better at it than others ??
I am just speculating too, 'cause I don't know the process, but that would seem to make sense. And if it is the case, maybe Biante should offer the pre-order customers the option of getting the decals un-applied, and fitting them themselves ?

                    • Have to agree there. Recently picked up the Red Pepper and JGS XB's. Worth selling my old Apollo Blue version for.

                            • haha very true, however if it was just the one car that was stuffed up there would have been a little grumbling but they stuffed up all the lastest falcon supercars so there is lots of grumbling
