Looks like SE Qld is in for some wild weather in the next few days. The rain is starting to pick up now on the Gold Coast.

Mate its been reasonably heavy rain all through the night but starting to get heavier as the day progresses and getting worse according to all the reports.
Wind is very erratic comes and goes in cyclonic fashion, combined with high tides today things may get nasty a couple of streets over from us at the Maroochy river.
Nice day resting in front of the telly with a few rumbo's might be the go

Fortnight who now mate. Really though we've had wet summer after wet summer, if we aren't allowed to do controlled burns in winter, it became the fire we had to have sadly.

Just text Rooboy he is ok also although he says the water is up as high as last time already so might have issues later getting nasty here now with reports of tornados just up the road at the next suburb went for a small drive just before and fair bit of damage just in our local area with the worst to come still
