There is speculation it is in fact an example of a new species, tentatively named Bufo turdus by respected toilet toad boffins.

It's quite interesting to watch them do this. They are quite smart and have worked out how to flip them over to avoid the poison and disembowel them (sorry, if you're having your dinner). After dispatching one many years ago, and I'm guessing he had well and truly gone to God, a crow quickly made short work of him. Very smart birds! They used to operate in pairs, when we were feeding the kangaroos down at the back fence, when the kids were little. The kangaroos would jump up and take bread thrown over to them by the kids. One crow would hop up from behind and bite the kangaroos tale and its mate would jump up and pinch the bread from the front. Roo's and wallabies certainly ain't the smartest in the animal kingdom, but the crows would do this over and over again.

Yep Crows are highly intelligent, only problem is that there is more of them around here now than toads along with those other pests, dump ducks.

Hi guys, this is Kris here, Marty's partner, unfortunately Marty suffered a massive Heart attack on Monday afternoon at work, he remains in an induced coma and is needing all the thoughts and prayers possible right now to pull through. I know this forum and this thread in particular are very dear to him.
