Can anyone tell me if the two '1:18' GTS coupes were released and placed on the site or were they marked temporarily out of stock due to the reduction in production run?
Thanks in advance ![]() |

I am not sure as to the Biante site but I did not see them available throughout the week. The cars are however available at my usual place of purchase. The certificate states build numbers of 5000 for each of the 2 colours. What I am wondering is, did they make the 5000 stated or is the quantity less than this?
If the 5000 are correct then I do not understand how the reduction in the production could apply unless it was known well before production so the certificates could be accurate. Bob. |

This is what i found confucing, The Biante newsletter states, i quote,, "The HSV GTS Coupe will be on site Monday next and due to cutbacks in quantities in the factory, both colours are scarce"
What is that supposed to mean???????It says it wont be on site till next monday. So how do people have them already as part of their collection? I do not recall ever seeing them released on the Binate site. Most confusing!! ![]() |

We were getting 3 colours origionally like the CV8 Monaro,
so now instead of 15,000 models available there is only 10,000. They were on site for about 4 hours and then removed while we caught up with the hundreds of orders that have poured in daily since the new site was launched. When we get time to regroup, the 2 colours available will go back on site. To be fair, we will wait until we send next weeks newsletter out with advice to that effect. Hope that solves the problem |

I was going to ask the same question Holden Man re the GTS Coupe availability on the Biante site.
In Friday 8th March newsletter it stated that the models would be available on the site on Mon 11th March. It seems unfair to me that when I perused the site on Sunday the 10th I was greeted with "temporarily out of stock". Why did Biante change their mind and release the models be it for 4 hours without advising newsletter members who I thought were supposed to be preferential customers?. ![]() |

Fair go guys. We are changing millions of bits of data over from one site to another and we have heaps of things to test.
The GTS and one of each other cagerory which had just arrived were the guinea pigs and once we accertianed all was OK they were changed to "TOS". We are talking about 5am in the morning, so there wasn't too many ordered! If they had been reinstated to the site as "Sold Out" (the only other option at that stage), the roof would have caved in!! Newsletter customers are not 'preferred' customers, but important customers just like everyone else we market models to. You just happen to get info in 2 seconds as against 2 days for other collectors and stores. The GTS Coupes will go back on site as per the earlier posting. |
